The Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Football Game is returning to Mobile this December
Updated: Apr. 05, 2022, 8:45 a.m. |Ben Thomas | [email protected] game will be held at noon on Dec. 10 at Hancock Whitney Stadium on the campus of South Alabama, according to Mobile Sports Authority executive director Danny Corte.
“The relationship between the city of Mobile and the Alabama High School Athletic Association always has been good,” Corte said. “We are excited that they are bringing one of their signature events back to Mobile. Our partners at South Alabama, including athletic director Joel Erdmann, have been great to work with, and they’ve been an important part of bringing it back.”
“High school events create a lot of economic impact for Mobile, and it’s also good for us to be hosting student-athletes from around the state as well,” Corte said.The Alabama-Mississippi Game started in Mobile in 1988The 2024 Classic will be played at Mobile on Saturday, December 14, and the 2026 game is set for Saturday, December 12.
