Ireland’s plan to introduce health warning labels on alcohol products from 2026 should go ahead despite the concerns of World Trade Organisation members, according to Alcohol Action Ireland.
Several nations, including the US and Mexico, raised concerns about the legislation which will see warnings in large red lettering about risks such as cancer and liver disease placed on bottles and cans sold in Ireland.
