Aldi has revealed it plans to open a new store near Glasgow before Christmas.
The retailer is opening 12 new locations across the UK between now and the end of the year, with each one creating around 40 local jobs.The shop will be located at the Westway Retail Park, Castlecary Way, Cumbernauld, G68 0LL.
George Brown, real estate director at Aldi UK, said: “We’re welcoming more and more customers through our doors each week, which is why we’re investing in new stores up and down the country to bring our great value groceries to even more people and meet the growing demand for Aldi.
