Alex Beresford broke down in tears on Celebrity Race Across the World, which he won with his dad, Noel, as he reflected on his infamous argument with Piers Morgan on GMB in 2021
Good Morning Britain's weather presenter, Alex Beresford, was moved to tears as he reflected on his heated argument with former co-host Piers Morgan. This emotional moment came after Alex and his dad Noel were declared winners of Celebrity Race Across The World.
"You've made it so clear a number of times on this programme. I understand you've got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle or had one and she cut you off... she's entitled to cut you off if she wants to. Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don't think she has, but yet you continue to trash her."
He added: "You can't dwell on things. You have to move on mentally so you can move on physically. It's been nice to let my hair down so to speak." However, in the months that followed, Piers seemed to belittle Alex by calling him a "stand-in weather man". In April 2021, he wrote a column for the Mail on Sunday where he shared his side of the story about their disagreement.
