Alex came to tears after winning the race on BBC 1's Celebrity Race Across the World. He said that him and his father will remember the race for the rest of their life.
Alex Beresford broke down in tears as he and his dad Noel were crowned the winner's of Celebrity Race Across the World on Wednesday night.
Alex exclaimed: 'It feels fantastic we are on top of the world right now. This was the toughest experience I have had but we got to travel together as men.' It led to an explosive on-air clash with Alex, who accused him of 'trashing' the Suits actress before Piers stormed off set. Later that day, he quit the ITV breakfast show.
'When I look back on it now, I thank God for my family and friends because it's those people who get you through.'
