The highly rated Dons youth is aiming to make a name for himself during a loan spell at Somerset.
The Aberdeen hitman has joined high flying Ayr United on a season-long loan. Scotland youth striker, Bavidge, will link up again with Scott Brown after the pair were teammates at Pittodrie. And after a successful loan spell at Kelty last season, Bavidge wants to step up in class and stay on the goal trail.
"His worth ethic and attitude when he was at Aberdeen was the best I've ever seen. I was only 15 at the time but just being around someone like that was great from a learning point of view. Bavidge hit 9 goals in 24 starts for Kelty last season and has earned a growing reputation in the Dons setup.
