Undercover Big Boss Alfie Best has had a career of success thanks to his mobile home business - but who is he?
He's been making headlines at the moment after a four-year planning dispute with South Ribble Borough Council. But who is the 'Gypsy billionaire' Alfie Best?
"I treat my businesses just like a lady – with honor, respect and integrity. By treating your business as something you love, it will love you right back." He then started his own business at the age of 14, buying and selling cars and vans and during the 1990s, he became the owner of several mobile phone shops across London. Then, in 2001 Wyldecrest began when he bought his first mobile home park in Romford, Lakeview Residential Park for £1.7million.
The journey going undercover started in Penwortham Residential Parks in Preston, where he is greeted with a hole that's been open for nearly two years. He's then put straight to work by the maintenance manager Julio. Mr Best then finds out that the manager is getting a lot of the brunt of complaints within the park and asks whether his wage is enough.
