College Park's Olivia DeGeorgio is the AGH girls wrestler of the year.
Spjut led the Cavaliers to their highest placing at the state meet in program history, tying for second with Euless Trinity. College Park received a strong performance from All-Greater Houston girls wrestler of the year Olivia DeGeorgio, but Maddie Welch also captured a state championship in her first appearance.
Bri Duncan and Lexie Mancillas competed and scored points for the team as well.Samyra Thomas, Sr., KashmereAnnmarie Janssen, Sr., Seven Lakes+The SPC and TAPPS do not have girls wrestling for private schools. Vogelsang became the first female wrestler to compete at the SPC championships and took third against male competitors at 113 pounds.
