Decastro prepares for career-defining fight 🥊 Nathan_Decastro
Lincoln bare knuckle boxer Nathan Decastro says his career is over if he loses an 'all or nothing' fight on his return to the ring, but he is determined to come out on top.
He hasn’t been in the ring since his fight against Lorawnt’t Nelson was stopped by a doctor in October 2022.Nathan will fight Hull’s Tony Shields at the indigo at The O2 on July 29. Tickets are available for £50 and can be purchased from Daniel Roberts on 07858 177 988. “It was a bitter pill to swallow. I want a rematch with him, but I’ve been told he’s ‘not interested’."
Nathan is now raring to go again for the fight with Shields, enduring gruelling training sessions twice a day. This includes running, hill sprints, sessions at Bracebridge Boxing Club, and strength and conditioning.“I can’t wait for the next fight. It’s been a long time coming,” said Nathan. “I’m going to make a big statement and show that I’m still at the elite level and I’m buzzing to get back in there.
