Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed they are divorcing after a decade of marriage, but fans have pointed out the couple have been unwittingly dropping hints for months
Fans of daytime TV were left heartbroken after the news of Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes ' split surfaced this weekend.
While she shares plenty of photos and videos of her mum, Eamonn is usually absent. Eamonn's Instagram feed tells a similar story. It's filled with family photos and glimpses into life in a TV newsroom, but Ruth - whom he lovingly calls Ruthie - is rarely featured. A recent photo of Eamonn with Linda Lusardi caused a stir among fans which shows him with his "wonderful" and "close" mate Linda Lusardi, amid there being a lack of social updates about his wife.
In other news, Ruth seemed to hint at difficulties looking after Eamonn given his numerous recent health problems. The TV presenter revealed how he’s been through a “hellish time” after falling down the stairs of his Surrey home and fracturing his shoulder – while also recovering from back surgery for chronic pain.
