As plane tickets become ever cheaper, many airlines try to recuperate some money by imposing extremely strict luggage allowances on both hand and hold bags and suitcases. If you're an over packer like I am, it can be difficult to gauge whether you're over the weight limit, which is why a portable luggage scale is an absolute must for frequent flyers.
The portable luggage scale, which comes in three colours, features a large LCD screen that can be easily read, even in the dark. It is also said to be highly precise, not exceeding 0.01kg on either side. It only weighs 90g too, making it compact and lightweight, easy for travelling.
One Amazon shopper said: "Works great. Shows different weights and is clear to see. Very precise and the strap can fit around all handles for easy use. Great product." A second wrote: "This is a brilliant piece of kit that is very accurate . Ideal size to fit into luggage case for return journey to ensure you don't exceed your weight allowance. Would definitely highly recommend.
However, one person gave the portable luggage scale a three-star review, writing that it is 'ok but needs improvement'. They wrote: "It's fine to use but I found it a bit small to hold with both hands for heavy items and a bit slippery. However it is almost accurate as I tested it with another scale and its approximately the same."
