An Amber Alert that was issued Tuesday afternoon for a 12-year-old last seen at 2 a.m. on Monday, April 4 in North Royalton has been canceled after the girl was found safe by authorities.
Both the Amber Alert victim and suspect were in the custody of the Cleveland Division of Police.
Police told 19 News when the stepmother woke up Monday morning, she discovered the 12-year-old was not inside her apartment and she reported her missing. Individual’s disappearance poses a credible threat of immediate danger of serious bodily harm or death to the individual.The 23-year-old male suspect was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with black writing on it. Police described him as a white man, 5′8″, 170 pounds, with blue eyes and black hair.
Without elaborating, the grandmother did acknowledge that her family does indeed know the family of the 12-year-old girl.Another woman inside the home expressed concern over Stiver’s mental state.
