Christian Divyne, who goes by @xiandivyne on TikTok, is an American who is on a quest to rank UK accents. In a video earlier this week about accents, Christian admitted he had never been to the UK and had no idea where any of its cities even are.
Christian first listened to a famous clip of Liverpool fan James Redmond in 2017, where he argued that then forward Sadio Mane was “the best footballer player in the world”. The original YouTube video has been viewed over 4m times since and been constantly re-shared across social media. Despite being warned that Scousers were hard to understand, Christian was a big fan of the Liverpool voice. He said: “I’m going to give Scouse 8/10, I like this accent.
