American's list of English things that would 'confuse' Americans Curiously
A Californian living in London has shared a list of 'socially acceptable' things in England that would "confuse" Americans.
Andrea explained: "Cashiers and retail workers don’t typically start conversations with people to the extent they do in America." She did argue: "The more outside of London you go, the better chance you have [of conversations] but still not the same as America”.People carrying alcohol down the street was another key difference. Andrea said that this is "illegal in the US apart from some part of Las Vegas".
