Fans of Sex and The City have criticized how the show has handled certain storylines, with the three main women seemingly acting out-of-character compared to the original series. One of the biggest criticisms has been how the show handled the absence of Samantha. In the show, Samantha has a falling out with Carrie & co. and moves to London.

Samantha has long been a fan-favorite character for many Sex and the City fans, and her presence is sorely missed in the reboot. Her character certainly put the"sex" in Sex and the City, and many say that without her, the reboot is missing the provocativeness and open-mindedness that made the original so special. Even if Samantha doesn't return in And Just Like That, maybe one day we'll see her again in some capacity.
