After a morning spent practicing, the Newstalk presenters are official Guinness World Record holders.
's Andrea Gilligan and Kieran Cuddihy have set a Guinness World Record for the fastest time to dress a person as a Christmas tree.The attempt was overseen by Dave Wilson, an official adjudicator who ensured all guidelines relating to the challenge were followed.The Guinness World Record rules state that the participant must resemble a Christmas tree and at the end of the attempt, the baubles must stay on for at least five seconds.
Andrea and Kieran successfully stuck to all guidelines and managed to complete the challenge in one minute and nine seconds. Andrea and Kieran’s practice paid off with Mr Wilson confirming the pair had set a new Guinness World Record.
