The co-founders started their journey focused on meeting the needs of investors and private equity firms looking to invest by rolling-up small businesses by industry categories

“We set out to create a business to do just that and make that information accessible, usable to really drive the private economy by building an intelligence engine around these private companies, to surface the right types of companies that you're looking for.

In addition to M&A transactions, there were larger corporations looking for partnerships and answers to the questions of who they should be building distribution networks with? Who should they be building different types of alliances and types of strategic relationships with? To do that you requires a lot of information using automated methods of collecting and processing that information, which is why the firm is so focused on the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence. “We really invested in what we think is proprietary technology around processing these companies, embracing the nuance of these businesses and trying to really understand what they're doing.

Today the company is growing fast according to Bocskocsky. “We were probably about a 15 person company in 2020, we’re about 50 people now. And just in 2021 alone, we we now have eight times our revenue for the search engine itself, so we've seen a really drastic uptake in the market embracing the product,” says Bocskocsky. The company is still attracting seed investments with the latest round in April of this year for $6.

Judge in Prince Andrew suit says document should be unsealedJudge in Prince Andrew suit says document should be unsealedA secret 2008 settlement that a lawyer for Prince Andrew says would protect him against a lawsuit claiming he sexually abused an American when she was 17 should be made public, a judge said Tuesday. The agreement was reached between Virginia Giuffre and financier Jeffrey Epstein, who killed himself in 2019 while awaiting a sex trafficking trial in New York City. Giuffre was among many women who said Epstein sexually abused them when they were underage. Attorney Andrew Brettler has argued that the deal also shields Andrew from a separate claim brought against the prince by Giuffre this year.
