The former Celtic boss has made an excellent start to life in the dugout in the English Premier League with seven points from a possible nine but once chance at silverware this season has already gone.
Ange Postecoglou has delivered his verdict after his Tottenham side got knocked out the League Cup at the first hurdle.
The Spurs boss made a number of changes to his team and it didn't pay off after a penalty shootout defeat to fellow league rivals Fulham. The ex-Hoops gaffer admits the result is naturally a 'disappointing outcome' but he was encouraged by some 'real character' on display and has challenged his players to take the knocks, get up and go again at the weekend.
“I like the fact we hung in there, that we showed some character and personality. I thought we got into the game and had our moments, but, away from home against a Premier League team, you need to take those moments in a cup game, we didn’t, and unfortunately, we miss out on penalties.
