MANILA — Angel Locsin, Coco Martin, Regine Velasquez, and Vice Ganda were among the stars who expressed support for ABS-CBN on Monday after the Office of the Solicitor General filed a quo warranto pe
tition asking the Supreme Court to void the franchise of the broadcast network.
“Mahabang taon na napatunayan ng ABS CBN na kahit ano man ang dumating na pagsubok sa ating bansa lagi sila nandyan para tumulong sa ating bayan!” Martin wrote. Velasquez, dubbed “Asia’s Songbird,” meanwhile, echoed hashtags that are circulating among supporters of the network: #WeDidNotViolateTheLaw and #InTheServiceOfTheFilipino.
