Anger as banner for murdered GAA fanatic Joe Deacy is slashed with a knife - for the second time
The cousin of a man, whose murder in Mayo six years ago remains unsolved, has claimed that his killers are becoming 'rattled' after a banner commemorating him was slashed with a knife for the second time.
Joe's cousin, Michelle Deacy, revealed, ' We initially put it up after his anniversary last August and it has been attacked five or six times, taken down and dumped on the ground but the last two times somebody butchered it with a knife. 'We know that it was destroyed between 2.20 and 3.10 last Friday afternoon so if anyone saw anything they can contact me on social media or get on to any Garda station.
