Bolton Wanderers fans have been warned to avoid any pub within ten miles of Port Vale's ground
Bolton Wanderers supporters have reacted with anger after being banned from visiting pubs within ten miles of an away ground. The Whites are due to visit Port Vale on Saturday for a League One fixture between the two teams.
In a tweet this morning, Staffordshire Police advised fans to arrange any stops at least ten miles from the stadium. The tweet read: "@OfficialBWFC fans travelling to @OfficialPVFC tomorrow: "No pubs in Burslem for away fans. Please arrange a stop outside 10 miles of the stadium if required. The tweet soon attracted angry responses from Bolton fans, many of whom were highly critical of the police's decision.
