The former finalist of the hit RTE show says some viewers need to realise it's a Sunday night entertainment show and think twice about sending nasty messages to contestants
Anna Geary has defended Kevin Dundon from negative criticism and trolling he has received on Dancing With The Stars , saying things “have gone too far”.

If you were to look at his improvement from Week 1 to now, it’s probably better than anybody else in the competition. Those that are still there were already really good dancers. Whereas if you look at Kevin’s journey, he has improved so much.
She continued: “I just think people need to pay attention – imagine you were in that position. Wouldn’t you want people rooting for you? It’s gone too far. It’s entertainment. Kevin’s steps aren’t always pitch perfect but I believe he is having so much fun. He looks like he’s having a ball. Anna knew she had fitness and determination on her side from her days spent playing camogie, but even she worried about being trolled online.
“I found it hard because my shoulders were always bent downwards from camogie and needed to be in a different position for dancing. So in some ways the sports background kind of went against me – especially my feet.”She went on: “In the world we live in now, it’s so easy to jump on a platform and make a comment about someone you don’t know and have no clue about. For Kevin, all I would say to him is if you wouldn’t take their advice, ignore their criticism.
