Letting you in on their 'secret' language, Cali Cat Crew on TikTok shared the five signs your cat loves you and has accepted you as part of their colony. The video adds: "Your cat licks you because they think you are a low-ranking cat in their colony." If your cat does zoomies when you get home, they're likely celebrating your safe return from 'hunting' for the colony. "Cats don't think we go to work to pay their bills," the video says. "They actually think we are out hunting for food.
The video adds: "Did you know that your cat is very disappointed at you coming home empty-handed every day? So they catch bugs at your house to feed you and show you how to be a successful cat. Finally, if your cat sleeps with you at night, it's a clear indicator that they trust and love you.
