The Saffrons are also sweating on the fitness of several key players for their vital clash against Carlow with one of the two sides relegated to the Joe McDonagh Cup for 2025

Antrim have appealed the red card issued to defender Ryan McGarry during last Saturday’s Leinster SHC defeat to Galway in Corrigan Park.

“It was a key moment in the game. They say it was dangerous play. The referee had a view on it, but we were able to go back and look at the video on it and it looks harsh. The game changed on the basis of that decision.” “Aodhán O'Brien picked up an injury with Rossa on Sunday and Seamus McAuley got injured for Ballycastle on Sunday. We’ve a fair job trying to get everyone right for Sunday.”

“It has been a very exciting Championship for everyone. Teams have looked dead and buried and out of it," said the Antrim boss.
