We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a cyclist has sadly died following reports that they collapsed in Station Road in Sutton on Sea tonight .
We received a call that a woman in her 60s was in need of medical assistance at 6.43pm. Sadly, despite the efforts of those who responded to the incident, she died a short while later.The cyclist had been heading in the Skegness direction. We are asking to view dashcam footage from people who may have been driving near to the chip shop in High Street to the Co-op store in Station Road between 6.30pm and 6.45pm tonight.
Station Road has been closed in both directions from the roundabout to the junction past the Co-Op while we carry out initial enquiries, and we expect it to remain closed for some time.By calling 101 quoting incident 377 of 28 MayIf you wish to remain anonymous, you can report via the independent charity CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111 or online.
