Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision that has left a man in his 20s in a critical condition in hospital
The collision between a lorry and a bicycle happened yesterday afternoon on the South Bank Road at the junction with the Whitebank Road in Dublin 4.
The cyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to St Vincent's Hospital where he is currently in a critical condition. No other injuries were reported. The scene was preserved and an examination was conducted by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. The road has since reopened. Gardaí are appealing for any road users who may have camera footage who were travelling on the South Bank Road or the Whitebank Road between 3:30pm and 4pm to make this footage available.
