CANTON, Ohio — Archbishop Hoban running back Lamar Sperling has won Ohio’s 36th Mr. Football award the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association.
A University at Buffalo commit, Sperling set himself apart with 3,511 rushing yards and 55 touchdowns on 377 carries entering Thursday’s state championship between the Knights and Toledo Central Catholic.
