Transport bosses have announced that a three month trial will be taking place to allow dogs on trams - we want to know what your thoughts are on the plan?
Transport bosses have announced that a three month trial will be taking place to allow dogs on trams for the first time since the network was opened in the 1990s.
Rules will include dogs being kept on a short lead, not being allowed to sit on seats and a maximum of two pooches per passenger. Someone also commented: "As a dog owner, it wouldn't bother me, unless the dogs caused an issue e.g, if they were being aggressive."However, not everyone had positive responses to the idea, with one person saying: "Some of them tram’s are rammed don’t think it’s a good idea they will be stood on or someone’s gonna get bitten and I’m a dog owner."
