Arizona State surges past Oregon, dealing the Ducks postseason hopes significant blow
If the Oregon Ducks don't make the NCAA Tournament, they'll have the Arizona State Sun Devils to thank.
Oregon entered the contest tied for second in the conference with USC behind Arizona but its NCAA title hopes have taken some serious hits lately. The Ducks lost on Saturday to 10th-place California and barely slipped by Washington State on Monday. ASU shot 55.6% for the game, which included a 61% in the second half. The Sun Devils also had 19 assists, hit 9-of-20 tries from long distance and finished with a 40-29 rebounding advantage.
