The standoff which lasted several hours happened in Wicklow today
The man, who gardai suspected was armed with firearms, refused to leave a property in Delgany, Co Wicklow on Monday after officials arrived attempting to execute a High Court order to remove him from the house.
In a statement gardai said they were requested to attend after “a male had barricaded himself into a property following the attempted execution of a High Court order by a third-party.” “The incident was peacefully resolved shortly before 3:00pm following negotiations. No injuries were reported.”
