Greater Manchester Police say the incident during Sunday's game 'crossed the line of what is acceptable'
Police have confirmed they have made an arrest following reports of 'tragedy chanting' at the Manchester United versus Liverpool game on Sunday .
GMP have since confirmed an arrest has been made and that Sunday's incidents 'crossed the line of what is acceptable'. The force said it would work with both football clubs to identify any other offenders.A spokesperson from Greater Manchester Police said: “GMP can confirm that an arrest has been made in connection with tragedy chanting at the Manchester United v Liverpool fixture this afternoon .
