Cannabis with an estimated value of almost €4m has been seized by gardaí following a series of searches on Dublin's northside.
A man was arrested on Wednesday after 21 kilogrammes of cannabis believed to be worth €420,000 was found in a vehicle that was searched in the Drumcondra area.
A follow-up search was carried out at an industrial property in the nearby Fairview area yesterday by gardaí from Raheny and Clontarf garda stations, supported by the Garda National Dog Unit.The seized drugs are to be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.Gardaí say the investigation is ongoing.
