Arsenal defender Lotte Wubben-Moy helped soothe any frustration felt by fans after the postponement of her side’s Women’s Super League clash at Brighton by paying for their drinks behind a local bar.
The clash at Broadfield Stadium was one of a host of WSL matches to be halted on Sunday due to a frozen pitch.Advertisement Tottenham’s home match with Leicester at Brisbane Road was also postponed, while the game between Chelsea and Liverpool at Kingsmeadow wasWubben-Moy was one of many leading WSL figures to call for changes to be made in the women’s game following the postponements, such as installing undersoil heating at grounds.
