Arsenal legend Martin Keown has applauded the club for their business in the January transfer window.
The Gunners signed Leandro Trossard and Jorginho, two players who have been quick to make an impact on the side.Former Chelsea midfielder Jorginho signed on the final day of the windowbeating Leicester 1-0Speaking to White and Jordan on talkSPORT, Keown was on hand to praise the side for their recent results before lauding the club’s new signings.He said: “A fantastic response at Villa and then a really convincing performance against Leicester.
“I thought the move to put Trossard as a false nine was really inspired. Eddie Nketiah you could see against Manchester City maybe lost his way in front of goal a little bit, just needed to be brought out of the firing line. “The way that he [Arteta] interchanges Trossard, that’s been a snip. The business that they made, Jorginho as well, he’s so intelligent with his passing.
“They could leave Thomas Partey on the bench because they knew that they’ve still got a player, they don’t have to rush him back.”
