The 19-year-old joined Leeds in the summer for just £3.8m from FC Zurich despite already being an Italy international, and has thrived in the Premier League.
Arsenal are ‘lining up’ a bid at the end of the season, while Manchester City and Chelsea are also thought to be keen, along with Inter Milan, where Gnonto developed for eight years before his move to Zurich in 2020.
Reports suggest Leeds will demand £31m at the very least for Gnonto, which would represent a huge profit on their investment. “Also, in training, I just can’t wait to play at home in front of the fans. It’s just something that makes me really proud, and my family as well in the stands. I enjoy every moment at home, away as well because they just come with us every time.”
