The Gunners winger was forced off against Tottenham and is sweating on his fitness ahead of welcoming Manchester City to the Emirates next month.
Arsenal could be left sweating on the fitness of Bukayo Saka for their clash with Manchester City next month after Mikel Arteta confirmed his winger suffered a foot problem in Sunday's 2-2 draw against Tottenham.
“He was limping quite badly after the match,” Arteta admitted ahead of Wednesday's Carabao Cup clash at Brentford. “We had to get him off the field, which is never a good sign. He hasn’t been able to participate in the session.” Like Pep Guardiola, the Gunners boss has already had to contend with multiple injuries. He also saw Declan Rice forced off on Sunday with a back issue, while Gabriel Martinelli and Jurrien Timber both suffered non-contact injuries.
