Astros starters have collectively thrown more innings than any MLB rotation, while Astros relievers have thrown the fewest innings in MLB. Astros starters also have the lowest ERA among all AL rotations, and the Astros’ bullpen ERA is the lowest in MLB. “I think you've seen that by almost the lack of roster moves we've had to make,” Stanek said. “Fortunately, the group's been together, for the most part, the whole year. So you just kind of have some sense of consistency and expectation on when you're throwing, what roles you're going to be used in, who's going in where, how to prepare.
