Post Office Travel told the i that on a £500 transaction, British visitors can expect to receive over £76 less when compared to the same time last year

British visitors to Scandinavian countries will also be quids in. Sterling is up 6.6 per cent year-on-year against the Swedish kronor , 1.5 per cent against the Danish kronor and just 50p more against the Norwegian krone.
Sterling is slightly stronger by one per cent than a year ago against the euro, giving visitors around £5 extra on a £500 transaction.
