The 23-year-old schoolteacher was killed while out for a run along the Grand Canal in Tullamore, Co Offaly on January 12th, 2022.
The 33-year-old of Lynally Grove, Mucklagh, Co Offaly was mostly unmoved in the dock and had his head down as the verdict was delivered this afternoon.
