Ashton Kutcher had his own Kelso moment when he was filming That90sShow, questioning what year it was.
That '70s Show and That '90s Show executive producer Bonnie Taylor shares that Ashton Kutcher went through some wild déjà vu while preparing to film his return as Michael Kelso in the spinoff. That '90s Show debuted with its first full season on Netflix on January 19 and welcomed That '70s Show stars Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, and Laura Prepon back to Point View, Wisconsin, and the Forman house.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY In an interview with BuzzFeed about That '90s Show, That '70s Show creator Bonnie Turner revealed that Ashton Kutcher had Kelso levels of confusion while filming the sequel series. Taylor recalled a funny behind-the-scenes moment where Kutcher fell asleep while studying lines on the Forman's basement couch. She said that when the actor woke up, he looked up at his real-life and now television wife, Mila Kunis, looking down at him.
"He said, 'When I woke up, it was Mila standing over me, and I opened my eyes. I looked around and I was in the Forman basement with my wife staring up at the [lighting] grid, dressed as Jackie. It was the strangest feeling I've ever had. I literally didn't know [what year] I was [in] for a minute.'"How Kelso Has Changed Since That 70s Show In many ways, Ashton Kutcher's Michael Kelson hasn't changed much since That '70s Show season 1.
Michael shows how proud he is of his son, and he still has a sweet relationship with Kitty Forman. He is also still an irritant to the often displeased Red. The That '70s Show finale suggested that Jackie and Fez were going to move forward with a relationship in the future, but Michael is back with Jackie in That '90s Show since Jackie and Fez are no longer together.
According to many critics, That '90s Show season 1 was a tepid return to the That '70s Show universe, but the show's heart now belongs to the new cast of teenage characters, including Leia Forman. Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart only appeared in episode 1 of the spinoff series, so their presence in the series has been very limited thus far.
