'Hear Your Call' will be the band's first single with new frontman Lee Tomkins
Aslan are set to release their first single with their new frontman Lee Tomkins since the death of Christy Dignam .The single is set to be released on March 7 with singer Lee on the track.
He said: "I showed the idea of the song to the lads and they really liked it so the four of us worked on it and made it what it is today."The recording process was very enjoyable and very quick. It feels great to be able to add to an already amazing catalogue of music from the band and to be also able to put my own stamp on a song."Guitarist Billy McGuinness said it was important that they all took part in the song-writing process.
"After all we have been through, dealing with our own grief in our own way, it feels amazing that something positive is happening, releasing our first single on our new journey. "It’s definitely very exciting for us and we can’t wait for everyone to hear it. We love the song so much in fact that we are releasing an EP with four different mixes of it."
