Ubisoft is seeing success with Assassin's Creed Mirage, revealing that the action-adventure game is the publisher's 'biggest new-gen launch' in terms of sales.
As our Xbox Gameplay Chart would tell you, Assassin's Creed Mirage is proving popular among players, so popular in fact that it's seeing similar player numbers at launch to sprawling RPGs Assassin's Creed Origins and Assassin's Creed Odyssey. 'With the number of players being in line with past successful launches such as Assassin's Creed Origins and Assassin's Creed Odyssey, we are humbled by the positive reception,' Ubisoft said on Twitter.
In all honesty, that last stat is far too low, and you all need to up your petting game. However, I guess some blame can be placed on Ubisoft here as the Assassin's Creed Mirage achievements do not feature an achievement for petting a cat, which should be mandatory if you feature that mechanic in your game. With Mirage, Ubisoft brought the Assassin's Creed franchise back to its roots.
