“There has to be so many caveats because there is that fear – and it’s a genuine fear – that the right to die would become a duty to die; that people might feel like a burden and take themselves out of a situation."“5% of all deaths last year in the Netherlands were from euthanasia: People who were not terminally ill, people who were very young, who would have lived for many years.Across the world, 10 countries have legalised assisted dying in various forms.
