Residents of Brandywine Living at Princeton hosting a charity sale with items made by the residents and team members to donate the proceeds to humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.

, Stephanie Gaber routinely cooks up ideas to keep her seniors in the assisted living facility engaged.“My family is from Ukraine,” said Gaber somberly during a benefit fundraiser for an organization called Hope For Ukraine held Wednesday. Her grandparents, parents and two sisters were born in the eastern European country currently under attack by Russia.“It is my heritage. I really felt the need to do something,” she said.

Wednesday, March 30, 2022 - Posing for a photo from left are Stephanie Gaber, Escapades Producer at Brandywine Living at Princeton and Yuriy Boyechko, President of Hope For Ukraine. The assisted care facility hosted a charity sale with items made by the residents and team members and Ukrainian food made by Gaber, to donate the proceeds to humanitarian efforts in Ukraine though Hope For Ukraine.

They also house up to 150 refugees who live full time in their center in Lviv, while helping them find permanent housing once they cross over into Poland.
