The natural skincare market has seen a surge in competition with numerous start-ups entering the already crowded segment. Despite this, Kevin Moore and Eoin Breen, founders of Atlantik Body Care, launched their business targeting athletes with skin health optimization needs. Moore, a senior intercounty footballer with skin issues due to intense physical activity, spent two years researching and developing products with Breen and natural cosmetics chemist Dr Neil Maher.
Their initial products include Body Armour, a body wash, and Trojan healing serum for moisturizing and soothing. Additional items like a moisturizer and face wash are in the works, with plans for a Christmas gift set to capitalize on the festive season
