It is believed that Atlanta United is willing to offer up to £10 million for Kyogo, but Celtic has rejected their previous attempts to sign him. However, Atlanta United is considering launching a fresh offer.
Negotiations with Benfica regarding Artur Cabral have reportedly stalled, and Atlanta United, who have two designated player slots available and funds to spend, have Kyogo on their list of potential signings, according to the Daily Mail. Deila took charge of Atlanta last week, and with former Inter Miami executive Chris Henderson now overseeing soccer operations at the club, chief executive Gareth Lagerwey has assured fans that they are prepared to make significant moves in the transfer market. He stated: 'We promised that we were going to remake the club,’ he said. ‘This is the first big one and there’ll be more to come to make this better in 2025.' Designated player status would allow Kyogo to earn significantly higher wages than the average MLS player. However, he still has two and a half years remaining on his £20,000 per-week contract at Parkhead. And the Premiership champions are reluctant to sell, especially with a genuine chance of reaching the Champions League knockout stage, as reported by The Daily Record. Nonetheless, a substantial offer in the tens of millions could force them to reconsider. Brendan Rodgers is eager to add a third striker to his squad if possible, but considers Kyogo his first-choice option. Celtic invested £9.5 million to sign Adam Idah permanently in the summer, so there is another senior forward who could step in if the club decides to sell Kyogo
