Brady Shaffer takes over after an injury, throws three TD passes in comeback
LA CANADA — The St. Pius X St. Matthias football team, led by backup quarterback Brady Shaffer, defeated St. Francis 47-22 Friday to remain unbeaten at 4-0.
St Pius coach Devah Thomas said of Shaffer, “Brady kinda shadows Dieter, like Dieter is his big brother and learns from him and was just waiting for his number to be called.” “Our defense is all about communication, everybody talking and everybody ready to make plays,” said St. Pius linebacker Davion Coffee.
