Two teenage boys have been arrested after a large-scale disorder broke out in Bacup town centre. The incident happened on Saturday night
An investigation by police, including CCTV footage, has led to the arrest of a 15-year-old boy from Rossendale and a 16-year-old boy from Bacup. Police investigations are continuing to identify all those who were involved. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.Sergeant Tony Hardman from the Rossendale Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “This behaviour is unacceptable, and we will not tolerate it.
“We will continue to work with our communities and partners as part of Op Centurion to tackle anti-social behaviour in the area.” Operation Centurion is Lancashire Police’s response to tackling anti-social behaviour backed by Police and Crime Commissioner Andrew Snowden and £2m of extra funding secured from the Government’s new Anti-social Behaviour Action Plan.
