Kathy Hochul’s deal.Critics had questioned the need to provide a massive giveaway for the stadium, given Pegula’s fracking fortune of more than $7 billion. “It’s actually very worrisome,” the lawmaker added. “If you were even to just to take a slice of that $800 million in order to help buffalo with their child care situation, I bet you money that parents in Buffalo would be very appreciative of that.”
