People will gather outside Ballyfermot Garda Station this afternoon to show solidarity with the two gardaí who were violently assaulted on Sunday night.
Footage of the ‘sustained and vicious attack’ appears to show a male garda being punched and kicked, while a female garda who tries to intervene is also attacked.Both gardaí have since been released from hospital; however, the male garda reportedly suffered serious facial injuries in the attack. “We’re going to show our collective solidarity and our concern for the two gardaí that were viciously attacked on Sunday,” he said.
